Is this a video channel to make fun of and put down someone? If you think the video is not worthy of your praise before uploading it, then don't publish it. Anyway, you are rude. The singers you praise are probably people like Whitney Houston and Billy Joel. Since your mind doesn't seem to have progressed at all since the 80s, I would advise you to learn that there are many different expressions in the world. If you insult singers you don't like for your own self-satisfaction, then you are not a professional vocal coach and should stop calling yourself a coach.

You don't seem to understand anything, so I'll tell you. Not all singers need to have the vocal talent of Adele or Celine Dion. TK has a voice that only he can express. If you judge it based on your own arbitrary values, your view of the world is too narrow. You should watch more singers from around the world and learn what kind of expressions they have. An amateur vocal coach like you has no right to say anything.

as an Artist that works in a different creative field, I want to say that after watching both of yalls TK video, that I send you guys many hates. I don't think you understand that artists doesn't always need to follow the "rules" that the field has set up, art is a creative field and I think you should understand that before making more videos on sensitive topics like art.

Nah, not enough research before doing the re-review so this was a total waste. Trying to analyze this like it was a pop song is kind of dumb. Imagine if this was spoken poetry based on a story and TK the singer, was emulating the protagonist character's inner thoughts and set to music, you'd have to ask yourself who is the "I" in the song, and when you know, you'll know why it would sound wrong if this was sung differently. For a re-reaction, this is a very lazy effort, you shouldn't have done it. Jonathan Young does a cover of this song in his style and I bet you'll love that version since its also in English...without realizing his overblown testosterone vocals are a bad fit for the anime's visual look in Tokyo Ghoul. I like Jonathan Young for things like Cranberries' Zombie, but not a TK song.

To like this song you kind of need to know the context of where this comes from, Tokyo Ghoul, the anime story. And of course the Japanese lyrics or at minimum a translated version. There's a lot of pathos and the vocalizing is deliberate to fit the context. But if you never knew any of what the song was about like these three, yeah, I couldn't blame them for their reaction. It's like if someone from Mozart's time suddenly attended a heavy metal or a hip hop/rap concert, all they'd hear is noise that made no sense. Or someone from today might see no point in spending over a hundred dollars to sit through an opera in a language you don't understand and a story you have no idea. And the negative comments are just as insulting so it goes both ways.
